Brief Camp Clarification: The ARTS Center of Clemson offers a diversity of fun, art-themed solar day camp activities for ages 3 and upward. We provide the class materials, funky fine art t-shirt, and snacks. Learn to make your own pinhole camera, describe comic books, invent kites and planes, create your own pottery, and so much more! CAMP LOCATION: Nosotros are located in Clemson, SC just off of Highway 93, and share our facility with two other non-profit organizations. Please visit our website to larn almost what The ARTS Eye has to offer.
Camp Program INFO: We offer plenty of options to choose from:
All four weeks nosotros have Morning Preschool for ages iii-5, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.grand. The little artists will explore cut, pasting, cartoon, and painting to express themselves in playful ways!
Nosotros also offer classes for ages 6-9 and ages 10+ and then that all ages can accept fun creating their own masterpieces! At that place are iv classes a week for each historic period group, with two being in the morning time and two in the afternoon. Please visit our website for more detailed data!
Calendar week 1 offers classes for ages 6-9 on comic books; crayon and glue batik; creating newspaper worlds with creatures that inhabit them; and making alien forms with clay.
Ages 10+ can make clay face up jugs and mugs; alive action movies; beaded batik; and explore watercolors & oil paints.
Week ii sees our artists, ages 6-ix, working with mixed media to create beautiful paintings; drawing based on themes with everything from colored pencils to pastels; handbuilding with clay; and digital photography.
Ages ten+ can choose from making their ain pinhole camera; creating fantastical Viking helmets and swords; drawing comic books; and making clay works on the pottery wheel.
Week three has classes for ages six-nine that offer short alive action picture making; creating treasure boxes with clay; using squishy materials to create sculptures; and mixed media to create unique works.
Ages ten+ tin can look at famous artists and larn from them to create brilliant pieces of work; make a Japanese styled book; use the wheel to make small pots; and depict and impress comics.
Week 4 offers classes for ages 6-9 on art journaling and the science backside works of art; painting anything and everything including rocks, jars, canvases, and shirts; patterned dirt pots; and pinhole photography.
Ages 10+ can learn virtually surrealist art and artists and create their own crazy artwork; employ polymer clay to make fun items; immerse themselves in nature through digital photography, or create colorful dirt designs on the potter's cycle.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: The ARTS Center of Clemson offers year-round adult and youth classes in a variety of mediums.

CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
Camps are five days long. We're offering four weeks of days camps. Morning camps from nine a.m. to 12 p.1000. and afternoon classes from 1 p.thou. to 4 p.m.

Week 3: July tenth - 14th
Week iv: July 17th - 21st
